Born in London, Michelle Claire Ryan expressed an affinity for acting while still in grade school. By the time she was 10 years old, Michelle joined a community theater group and was eagerly taking on roles in a wide variety of stage productions. A few years later, Michelle began auditioning for local television shows and film shoots. Her hard work paid off in 2000 after she was added to the cast of the long-running UK-based soap opera EastEnders. By the time she finally left the program five years later, Michelle had appeared in a whopping 317 episodes firmly establishing herself as a talented up-and-comer among British audiences.
